Luis Valentin is a descedent of a Spanish great-grandfather from Asturias, Spain. He grew up in Puerto Rico and his Spanish roots always played a role in his life. One trip to Spain sparked his love for olive oil and the people of Andalucía. This love led to the decision to plan to move to Spain and try to make a living with some of his most treasured passions: Olive culture, Travel, and History. Luis decided to purchase a Cortijo and land with olive trees which he has slowly renovated himself. The idea of Cortijo Golondriño Cultural Tours was the obvious progression to his dream, to make a living doing what he loves: people, culture, Olive culture, history, and teaching.  He used his cortijo and land as the foundation for his vision.

Cortijo Golondriño Jaragual Tours, located in Castillo de Locubín is an agro-tourism company focusing on providing customers with a rural setting lodging experience accompanied by a visual hands-on experience with the Olive culture world. We will also offer Urban and Rural Landscape photography classes and walks showcasing the beauty of the Andalucía landscape. Cortijo Golondriño Jaragual Tours will also connect customers to the possibilities of purchasing property in Jaén.
