I grew up in Puerto Rico and at an early age became absorbed by subjects that visually celebrated the beauty of the word Simplicity, the inspiration for my creativity. The simplicity of an old wooden house, a weathered fence or the passion in the eyes of children playing with their homemade toys, were the images that awoke me as an artist and a human being.​
​
This love for Simplicity, my enthusiasm for cultures and passion for photography have given me the direction and inspiration to make this project come to life. This life ​ project started as a photographic essay that turned into visual stories celebrating the essence of the peoples' simplicities and the complexities of their dreams. The photography has become more of a process that grants me the opportunity to learn, understand and appreciate the wonderful people I meet through my travels, the true historians.
​
This project continues to open my level of understanding and love for how people define their happiness and pursue their purpose on this planet.
