Cortijo Golondriño is located in Castillo de Locubín
Castillo de Locubín is a picturesque town about 50 minutes north of Granada, 4 hours south of Madrid, 2 hours from Málaga, 2 1/2 from Córdoba and 3 1/2 from Sevilla.
Castillo is known as Pueblo Blanco or white village, so named for the white-washed walls of the houses. This beautiful town is nested in the foothills of the Sierra Sur framed by olives groves and cherry trees which provides this quaint pueblito the rural feel of the traditional Spain.
Cortijo Golondriño resides near the source of the San Juan River in Castillo de Locubín, with a 360 degree view of beautiful olive tree covered hills, a donkey farm and the Nacimiento del Rio San Juan.
