Time travel with Asa Knight & Captain Picard
I just wanted to share something I realized last week while working at the Asa Knight country store. I'm a big fan of Star Trek, the next generation and Captain Picard is one of my favorite characters in the series. Captain Picard always does this random tug of his uniform down at the waist, Why do I mention this? Well, I seemed to be doing the same thing, I keep randomly tugging my Old Sturbridge Village period vest down during the day. I guess I'm bringing the past and the fictional future together, and that's pretty cool! My OSV trainers will be happy with me, they all suggested to come up with ways to related to the past with the present... well I took it a step further, the future! So here I am in 1838, doing something that my favorite Star Trek character does in 2364. Mission accomplished Tom and Rhys!
